Meditation

Meditation is a practice that involves focusing your attention and quieting the mind to achieve a state of mental clarity, emotional calmness and inner peace. The ultimate goal of meditation is to cultivate a heightened sense of awareness , presence, connection to the Self and transcend the ordinary and ultimately experience the merger with the Divine.

Meditation often involves techniques such as mindfulness, breath awareness, visualisation or mantra repetition. Incorporating meditation into your daily routine can have profound effects on both your mental and physical well-being, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

There are many benefits of meditation that have been supported by scientific research:

  1. Stress Reduction
  2. Improved focus and concentration
  3. Emotional Regulation
  4. Enhanced Well-being
  5. Better Sleep
  6. Increased Self-Awareness
  7. Reduced symptoms of Depression and anxiety
  8. Lower blood pressure

Winter Solstice Meditation
Expand your Light

Celebrate Winter Solstice with a Sacred Meditation from the Kundalini Yoga Tradition.
Saturday 21st December 2024

Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and longest night, symbolizing the rebirth of the Sun and a return of light, hope, and new beginnings. It is a time for personal reflection, letting go of old patterns, and setting intentions for growth as the days begin to lengthen. It symbolizes the cycle of death and rebirth, encouraging spiritual transformation and inner renewal. It celebrates nature’s cycles, fostering a sense of harmony with the earth as life hibernates and prepares to awaken. It is a time to acknowledge the power of light over darkness. It is a time to turn inwards and take time to be in silence, a time to embrace stillness and ignite the light to grow from within. We will mark this special time with a sacred meditation from the Kundalini Yoga to ignite the flame of consciousness and expand the light from within. You will have access to the video for 40 days after the event and join a growing group of meditators on whats app and be supported to keep up the meditation for 40 days together.
